The route to the main entrance
The 2 accessible parking spaces are located outdoors over 10 m from the entrance. The width of the parking spaces is less than 3.6 m.
The width of the parking lot next to the B building is 3.6 m and the width of the second parking lot opposite the F building is 3.2 m.
The pick-up and drop-off area is located in the vicinity of the entrance.
Topelia has several segments with their own entrances. The information desk is located in building A and is only accessible from Building A. The barrier-free entrance to B wing is located between the B and C entrances. There is a passenger lift at the entrance to wing C. Access to C wing is through a locked door. The D, E and F wings are accessed via the E wing entrance. There is an opportunity to stop in front of each of the accessible entrances.
The route to the entrance is guided, narrow.
The building does not have an actual main entrance, but the information desk is located in wing A. At the accessible entrance to the C-wing there is a platform lift with a width of 85 cm and a depth of 140 cm. Accessible access to the Topelias restaurant in D wing is via the entrance to the E wing by elevator.

The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens easily manually.

The entrance "E-wing entrance"
The main entrance parking spaces may be used for this entrance as well. The distance from the parking spaces to the entrance is over 10 m.
The pick-up and drop-off area is located in the vicinity of the entrance, giving easy access to the pavement.
The route to the entrance is guided, smooth and sufficiently wide.
The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
The doors connected to the entrance are hard to perceive. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door is heavy or otherwise hard to open.
The entrance has thresholds over 2 cm high.
The customer service point is located on a different floor than this entrance.
For moving around, there is a lift, which can hold a wheelchair; the door opens automatically. The floor numbers in the lift can be felt with fingers. The button for the exit floor stands out from the other buttons. (The minimum dimensions for an accessible lift are width 1.1 m and depth 1.4 m.)
The entrance "Fabianinkatu 37 A"
The main entrance parking spaces may be used for this entrance as well. The distance from the parking spaces to the entrance is over 10 m.
The route to the entrance is rough and it uses movement-guiding surface material.
There is a steep slope on the passage.
The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
The entrance on the Fabiansgatan 37 A side is inaccessible, as there are stairs after the front door that you have to use to enter the building.
In connection with the entrance, there are at least 4 turning steps, with handrails on both sides.
The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly and the glass doors have contrast markings. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens automatically with an opening button.
