Service point description
Seurasaari bathing area, established in 1906, is mostly a nudist beach. Due to this, the beach has separate fenced sides for men and women. On Sundays and Wednesdays, the bathing area is in public use, and swimwear is mandatory. The beach is in Seurasaari, in the front of Meilahti. There is a bridge connection to the island from the mainland. You can check the water quality, temperature and blue-green algae situation of the beach via the ulkoliikunta.fi map service during the summer season. Lifeguards do not supervise the beach during the beach season. The bathing area has dressing rooms, toilet facilities and showers. The other services of Seurasaari are also nearby. During the winter season, the bath serves as a winter swimming place, maintained by Seurasaari Swimmers' Association. How to get there: There is no car park near Seurasaari, but you can access the area easily by public transport or city bikes, for example.
