Service point description
The shaded Iso Kallahti Beach is a sandy beach in East Helsinki, within a 20-minute walking distance from Rastila and Vuosaari metro stations. You can check the water quality, temperature and blue-green algae situation of the beach via the ulkoliikunta.fi map service during the summer. Lifeguards supervise the beach during the beach season. The beach has a dressing room and shower and toilet facilities, but also a volleyball court and a playground. Restaurant Maininki is also nearby. How to get there: The beach does not have its own parking area. However, you can access the beach by public transport or a city bike.
