Service point description

The diverse Marjaniemi Beach is about a 20-minute walk away from Itäkeskus Metro Station. The beach also has rocks and a jetty, in addition to sand. You can check the water quality, temperature and blue-green algae situation of the beach via the ulkoliikunta.fi map service during the summer season. Lifeguards supervise the beach during the beach season. The beach has a dressing room, a shower, toilet facilities and a kiosk. How to get there: There is no parking area close to the beach. However, you can access the beach easily by public transport.

Lifeguard on duty

Services: dressing room, shower, toilet facilities and kiosk. The dressing rooms and toilet are open during the lifeguards' working hours, but the facilities close about 30 minutes before the lifeguards' working time ends.
