Service point description

The purpose of treatment is to stop long-term substance abuse, treat withdrawal symptoms and build a foundation for rehabilitation. Our ward staff also start and end opioid substitution treatments and replace substitution treatment medication. Our team includes a doctor, nurses, practical nurses and a social instructor. You can access detoxification treatment by contacting the substance abuse outpatient clinic or Pysäkki Substance Abuse Services for Young People. You can also get a referral from a health station or the emergency services.
